This summer, WIF partnered with Danielle Corbin and Dr. Tori Ellis of the Mindfulness and STEAM Lab to deliver hands-on dissection labs to youth participating in the HYPE Freedom School program in Houston, TX. Summer 2022 was our first season meeting back in person following two years of our online program, HYPE@HOME. Our goal was to offer our scholars unique and fun learning experiences. We were delightfully surprised to have the opportunity to partner with the YVI program.

From the very beginning, Dr. Wells and her team made the process easy. They took the time to meet with us on a regular basis to not only answer all of our questions but also tailor the program to meet the needs of our students in our spaces. The supplies arrived on time and were packed with everything we needed.
The YVI team was relatable, professional and above all passionate about their work. We can’t express our thanks enough. Thank you so much for making science fun at HYPE. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for summer 2023!
