Reading Never Stops

Reading Never Stops is the literacy initiative that WIF began in June 2017 when we collaborated with the Houston Public Library to bring the first People & Pajamas read-a-thon to the Sunnyside area of Houston. That year, we also held an event at the Children’s Museum of Houston and donated books to kids at Shadydale Elementary School in North Houston.

Our work was interrupted due to the effects of Hurricane Harvey, but we renewed our activity in June 2019 with the second People & Pajamas event at the Johnson Neighborhood Library in Sunnyside.
