our YVI book club participants dove into the anatomy of the brain and learned how its different parts function.

In the true spirit of STEAM education, the students at Etoile Academy used art to help them absorb and cement the information they learned from reading the book.
HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL – Chicago, IL
The eighth graders at Holy Family unknowingly paid tribute to WIF’s first literacy initiative (Reading Never Stops) by reading The Magnificent Makers #2 aloud to first graders at their school.
2ND YVI BOOK CLUB & MERIT BADGE PROGRAM ZOOM CALL – December 10, 2022
Fifth-graders from ETOILE ACADEMY in Houston, TX and eighth-graders from HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL in Chicago, IL met each other for the first time when they joined this call to discuss what they learned by reading The Magnificent Makers #2.
Holy Family students talked about what it meant to them to be able to read the book aloud to first graders at their school.
Prompted by Holy Family’s CEO, Cheryl Collins, students from both schools ranked the book on a scale of 1-5 and explained why they assigned the rank they selected.
