Paris Reflections, 360

Paris Reflections cover

Paris Reflections, 360 is a collaborative immersive media project between Dr. Monique Y. Wells, the Wells International Foundation, and the University of Arizona’s Tech.Global student engagement study abroad program that explores the streets of Paris from new perspectives.

Based on the book entitled Paris Reflections: Walks through African-American Paris (Christiann Anderson and Monique Y. Wells, co-authors), the project blends immersive 360 photography and narrative from Paris Reflections to take explorers on a walk through Paris’ Left Bank. The walk will be viewable online through new headset technology such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and mobile VR (Google Cardboard and similar tools).

The project is presently in the assembly stage at the University of Arizona and will be first available through the Tech.Global website at https://tech.global.arizona.edu.
