American Scholar Accepted to Prestigious University in Paris
PARIS, France – December 29, 2025 – Zaahir Hardaway, a rising young scholar and emerging global citizen, has been accepted to the American University of Paris (AUP). His acceptance follows a life-changing international experience in Paris as part of the first all-male cohort of Going Global with Barbara’s International Youth Leadership Program (IYLP), a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to expanding global access and awareness for Black youth and one of the Wells International Foundation’s key partner organizations.
The IYLP excursion was organized by Going Global with Barbara under the leadership of its founder and president, Barbara Eubanks, and in partnership with the Wells International Foundation.

Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit Annonces Concert for Canines and Cats in Partnership with Wells International Foundation and Ackeem Salmon
DEARBORN, Michigan – May 23, 2025 – Friends for Animals will host a Sound & Sanctuary concert on Thursday, May 29, from 3 – 4 p.m. with featured artist, harpist Ackeem Salmon and partner, Wells International Foundation. This event will be open to the public during the shelter’s regular operating hours.
The organizations invite attendees to walk around the adoptable dog and cat spaces and listen to music, experiencing firsthand the newly completed MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center, located at 16121 Reckinger Rd. in Dearborn, MI.
