On July 30, I was thrilled to be able to participate in the HYPE Freedom School Read Aloud program last month! Thanks to Zoom, I was able to read the book entitled “Richard Wright and the Library Card” to kids in my hometown of Houston, TX. The kids had lots of questions and I had great fun responding to them.
