Black Paris and the Myth of a Colorblind France
The entire world turned to digital communication during the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a result, WIF Founder and CEO Dr. Monique Y. Wells is sharing ETBP content through Zoom presentations.
She presents her “Black Paris and the Myth of a Colorblind France” lecture (recently revised to include information about France’s Black Lives Matter movement) for colleges and universities, travel organizations such as Context Travel and Atlas Obscura, and community service groups such as Message and the Association of American Women in Europe (AAWE).
Virtual Black Paris Experience
WIF and ETBP have joined forces with Priceless Parties Plus to offer the Virtual Black Paris Experience. This online event combines a virtual walking tour with live commentary and Q&A for a one-of-a-kind introduction to Black Paris.
At present, we are only offering this opportunity to groups.

Let’s Talk – Myth of a Colorblind France
In December 2020, the video documentary entitled Myth of a Colorblind France was released. Our own Dr. Monique Y. Wells is featured in this 1h 26 minute film by Director Alan Govenar and his production company, Documentary Arts.
Dr. Wells is offering “Let’s Talk” sessions based on numerous excerpts from the film and the accompanying online learning resource. These are suitable for middle school, high school, and university students, as well as for adult groups.
