2017 Wells International Foundation Internship

WIF expanded its internship program in 2017, accepting three undergraduate students to work on various projects over a 6- to 8-week period!

For the second straight year, we accepted a Stanford University student as an intern. Tatiana Balabanis is a psychology major with aspirations to attend medical school. She was a rising junior when she joined the program. Among other duties, Tatiana wrote blog posts and curated content for the African Diaspora Impact in Paris Facebook group with a focus on Haitian culture.

Hanna Gressler was a rising senior at the American University of Paris when she joined the intern program. She is majoring in Literary Studies and the Creative Arts and is fluent in English, French, and German. Hanna is passionate about research and investigated several topics during the program. Many of these supported the Gathering Light: The Beauford Delaney Project and the Les Amis de Beauford Delaney blog. Hanna also wrote poems and commentary inspired by Beauford Delaney works as well as articles about veganism in Paris.
